Igor leads fundraising and investor relations across Flashpoint's seven funds, managing a portfolio of 220 LPs and ~$670M AUM. Since joining in 2021, he has helped scale the firm's LP base to more than 200 family offices and HNWIs across North America and Europe. The firm so far made 28 portfolio exits, including Shazam (to Apple), Chess.com (to General Atlantic and the PokerStars founders), OfficeRnD, Comeet, Marketman and Gurushots to acquirers including KKR, PSG, and others

Igor’s 25-year career sits at an unusual crossroads of investment banking, public-sector service & reform, and venture capital. From 2005 to 2011, Igor was heading UBS Bank in Ukraine, overseeing M&A, ECM (IPOs and SPOs), fixed-income, and wealth management. He then joined Renaissance Capital as Co-CEO and Head of Investment Banking for Ukraine and Central & Eastern Europe.

In 2014, he was invited by the Ukrainian Government to serve as First Deputy Minister of Revenues and Duties, then Head of the State Fiscal Service, a 50,000-person agency where he championed tax reform, VAT accounts, and the digitisation of VAT administration. From 2015 to 2017, as Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, he launched the country's transparent privatisation programme, introduced e-auctions and Dutch auctions for illiquid state assets, and drafted the privatisation law adopted by Parliament in late 2017. He lead on the program of converting the State owned enterprises into Joint Stock Companies (Railways and UkrPost).  He returned to private markets as Managing Partner at Altius Capital, leading M&A and private equity, before joining Flashpoint Capital.

Igor holds a B.Sc. in International Finance and Accounting from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and a Master's in International Economics from the Kyiv National University of Economics. He is based in London. A Ukrainian from a small town who, in his own words, "has never stopped on achieved", he is now focused on building Flashpoint Capital into a category-defining platform for tech founders from Europe and Israel scaling globally.
